THERE will be a real cutting edge to Somerset in the NatWest T20 Blast this year after the club signed a landmark deal with The Real Shaving Company.

The agreement will see the company, which is part of the Swallowfield Group, become the Official NatWest T20 Blast Partner.

The Somerset squad will now be looking sharp both on and off the field with The Real Shaving Company logo appearing on the front of this season’s NatWest T20 Blast shirt.

Head of commercial operations at Somerset County Cricket Club Jez Curwin said: “The NatWest T20 Blast is exciting, vibrant and fun and that is exactly what this deal will be.

“The Real Shaving Company are really keen to be involved in our match-day activation.

“The Real Shaving Company are a local business that are known around the world and it is going to be extremely enjoyable working with them over the course of the season.”

Group sales and marketing director Jane Fletcher, from The Real Shaving Company, said: “We are thrilled to be supporting Somerset and are looking forward to working with the club to bring exciting activation to the NatWest T20 games.

“We are very fortunate to be able to manufacture our products in the West Country where we employ over 400 people.”
