The registration deadline for the general election is today, Monday, April 20.
With millions of people still missing from the electoral register, anyone who is eligible to vote can get online so their voice is heard, but it has to be by midnight tonight.
On Thursday 7 May 2015, elections will be taking place in Taunton Deane for the Member of Parliament for the Taunton constituency. On the same day, elections will be held for the 56 seats on Taunton Deane Borough Council and for the 42 Town and Parish Councils within the borough.
In 2014 Individual Electoral Registration (IER) was introduced, which lets everyone take responsibility for their own vote. In addition, for the first time ever, people are now able to register online.
If you are entitled to be on the Electoral Register but are not currently, you can register by going to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
