JAMMING: The kids at Minehead Middle try out the Indonesian musical instruments
LAST Week Minehead Middle School had the privilege of hosting Gamelan workshops, organised by their Music Teacher, Mr Crossley and Nick Brace at Actiontrack.
Gamelan is the word used to describe an Indonesian orchestra, which consists mainly of tuned percussion instruments.
All of the children received a tutorial in how to play these beautiful instruments, and the sounds they made were amazing.
