A CAR was flipped onto its roof and left blocking the highway after a crash last night.
The crash happened shortly before midnight on A39 Porlock Hill near the New Road junction.
Police and fire service were both called to the incident on the road going towards Exford from Porlock Hill.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service said they had "received a report of a vehicle on its roof in a precarious position on the highways."
One fire engine from Porlock was sent to the incident.
