CARNIVAL season has returned to Somerset - kicking off in Wellington.
Plenty of people from the town and further afield turned out on the night to enjoy what was on offer from one of Somerset's favourite traditions.
The South Somerset circuit of carnivals continues this Saturday (October 1) in Ilminster, followed by Chard on October 8 and Taunton on October 15.
The Somerset County Guy Fawkes circuit starts in Bridgwater on November 5.
