MUSIC lovers are invited to join musicians Sara Trickey and Ivana Gavrić for a beautiful programme of some of the most beloved repertoire for violin and piano, spanning Classical and Romantic periods.

Sara Trickey enjoys an exciting and diverse career as a solo violinist and chamber musician. Noted for her ‘fiery and passionate’ performances (The Strad) and her ‘beautifully refined tone’ (Musical Opinion).

Sara studied with Camilla Wicks and also was very much influenced by her studies at IMS Prussia Cove. She read Classics at Trinity Hall, Cambridge and this continues to be a passion.

Her playing has been described as ‘altogether of an extraordinary calibre’ (BBC Music Magazine) and ‘notable for its beautiful sound, musical integrity, and introspection’ (The Independent).

Concerts in the West is a small but energetic arts charity, which organises and promotes an annual series of high-quality classical and baroque concerts at regional venues in Somerset, Dorset, and Devon.

The charity is run by a small group of trustees who are all very committed and hands-on, bringing their expertise to the charity.

They are also indebted to our hosts who look after the musicians during their stay as we could not afford hotels or B&Bs.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.concertsinthewest.org, where further concert details can also be found.

Times: Ilminster and The Dance House, Crewkerne start at 7.30pm.

The Bridport coffee concert will start at 11.30am and finish at 12.30pm.
