A MAN in his 70s who was reported missing from the Yeovil area on Wednesday has been found safe and well, police have confirmed.
On Friday afternoon (April 12), a police spokesperson said: "This morning we issued an appeal for help finding 73-year-old Jonathan who was missing from the Yeovil area.
"We're pleased to report he was found safe and well earlier this afternoon. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
Police had earlier said he had left home on foot and without his personal possessions or medication, which police say is 'out of character'.
