Wellington Chiefs 2nd XV entertained their local rivals Wiveliscombe on the Beech Grove pitch in Counties 3 Tribute Somerset South.
The Chiefs bounced back from last week’s defeat at Chard to come out on top by 33pts-22 for a bonus points victory.
It was a hard fought match where either side could have won however it was the hosts that claimed bragging rights this time round.
Wiveliscombe now look to the last league fixtures before Christmas this weekend.
The First XV make the longest trip of the year to take on Pirates Amateurs and supporters have been asked to let the club know if you’d like a space on the bus.
The Second XV take on Bridgwater 2’s at the Rec in their last match of the campaign.
The same goes for Wellington as their last fixture of 2022 takes place this weekend.
For the First XV, they host St Austell in the Regional 2 Tribute South West on Saturday, 17 December.
And for the Second XV, they North Petherton Seconds in the Counties 3 Tribute Somerset South on Saturday as well.
