SOMERSET County Cricket Club players and staff have provided some Christmas cheer  for children at a local hospital this week.

Members of the team visited Musgrove Park Hospital this week to carry out their annual Christmas gift drop to the Children’s Wards.

Tom Abell, Tom Banton, Tom Lammonby, Shoaib Bashir, Sonny Baker, Ned Leonard, Alfie Ogborne, Ben Green, Josh Thomas, Andy Hurry and Jason Kerr were joined by Stumpy to help spread a little festive cheer.

The group also met up with a young friend who they hadn’t seen for awhile; Bodhi who joined the team for the Vitality Blast trophy celebration at Edgbaston!

As well as bringing toys and gifts for the children on the wards and for the playroom, the players also donated a signed shirt courtesy of Tom Banton.
