SOMERSET Pathway cricketer Theo Lamey is currently out in South Africa.
The young cricketer is overseas as part of a two month exchange between King’s College, Taunton where he is is a pupil and St Stithians College in Johannesburg
The 14-year-old has made a successful start to his time in the Southern Hemisphere and since arriving just over two weeks ago, as well as enjoying a safari to check out the wild life he has played three games of cricket in which has impressed.
In the first match opening the innings Theo made an unbeaten 54, which he followed up by scoring 128 not out.
In his third game Theo scored another century 114, so the warmth of the sun and being out playing on the grass seems to be suiting him very well and will be great preparation for the 2024 season which will be getting underway soon after he returns home.
